In the last decade, I've witnessed an exponential increase in demand for technological advancements. Having met with hundreds of water utilities, I've helped them assess their business and community drivers and supported their adoption of smart technologies.

Yet, I kept seeing gaps in the technology adoption process. There is a lack of unbiased smart technology education before utilities engage consultants for feasibility studies or launch an RFP-driven project. After technology purchases, there is often inadequate support for integrating new tools—particularly in updating processes and ensuring seamless software and data integration with existing systems.

 

I started Water Intelligence Specialists to bridge these gaps. We equip utility professionals with the knowledge to make informed decisions during the selection process and work hand-in-hand to ensure the sustainable success of their technology investments through process updates, system integration, and data visualization post-deployment.​
